3/5/22 3/6/22

I start filming the shots and layout the plan to my actors. We focus on scene 1 getting the camera angles down and the movements. I will also create the ambient sounds that will be used throughout the opening scene. We end setting up scene 2 for the next day. We start off the second scene out of the three. We began filming the angles and planning on what and where the sounds will be.

3/12/22 3/13/22

These two days are going to be reviewing and finishing up the film of scene 3 and polishing any of the scenes that we wanted to make better. I will be starting the editing on these days to get a head start.

3/19/22

I will try to finish editing and combine the sounds, music, and effects. I will edit each of the 3 scenes, I try to make the scenes fit with the atmospheres.

I will be filming at the golf course that the owners of the condos. Along the trees at the edges.

Health and safety 

We made sure the owners were ok with us filming on the golf course as long as strangers weren't filmed. We will be filming during the day, so it negates any dangers at night, and we will have adult supervision from a trusted adult with access to a first aid kit and access to 911. Also, making sure the golfers don't hit us and we don't interfere. 


Backup plan

If we can't film at that location does not work, we could use different parts of the golf course and if not the golf course at all, the park near my house will do fine. If the weather is bad, then we have to reschedule the date to the next week because it has to be outside. If one of the actors cannot show I can get another one of my friends or my brother.

  Research Our group will be doing a Nike commercial. Typically these commercials follow multiple people ranging from average joes to famous athletes partaking in some physical activity. The costumes they wear are Nike branded apparel whether it be shorts, windbreakers, tennis shoes, sports bras, or headbands. Many of the props used were sporting equipment, specifically basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, towels, water bottles, or gloves.  Almost always the actors are fit and drenched in sweat or more accurately spritzed with water right before the shot was taken. Final decision-Action

 I chose the action genre for my opening scene film. Action movies have always peaked my interests with the plot the scene and how they are crafted just make it so perfect. This option is the easiest this action movies have more of my style. Action movie more, so war movies have always grabbed my attention because I love to study history and wars. The atmosphere of the movies just checks all the boxes for me and now that I can create and opening scene to one, I'm all hands on. I already have a great idea of what my opening on my action movie will be. Some of the ones that inspired me were "Hacksaw Ridge" and "Midway" which I loved and learned about. I know how war movies are portrayed, as gritty harsh warzones with empty atmospheres. This experience will help me make a better opening that is more enjoyable to make.  Action was my chose over the other two because I could get much more creative than I could if I was doing horror or drama.
