Working on the props, costume, setting, acting, and make up

 This opening scene needed so many props to fulfill the vision I have to make this film. Since my movie is a war movie it needs guns (not real) that the soldiers will carry throughout the film. I will need to make or get large radios to act as both for music for the film and as a way to talk to the other character. I already had a paintball gun to use, and the other actors had toy guns so, we were set on that. The radio is what I had to search for because any modern Bluetooth radio would look out of place so we had to search from thrift stores to pawn shops I could not find one. If I can't find one then I will have to make or turn something into what looks like a radio, but the search continues. The wardrobe is more complex, and I had to think of what we would wear. I had to consider where the war would take place along with the setting we had and pick an outfit to wear. Helmets were needed to give the appearance of a solider, I had a helmet that had 2 pieces so it could act as 2 helmets. We still needed a third, so I went looking while the other two dis other tasks. Another piece of the outfit were the pants, long camo or dark cargo pants needed to make the outfit look proper. Our group had this part of the outfit covered so no searching required. Finally, the top which most likely would consist of camo shirt with a black shirt to make it look military. My group have these items at our homes, so it makes the process much easier. The setting of where we will film is already covered; I live close to a golf course, and it is the perfect place. I had already pick out the location to film and it is safe and close to home. I had already asked permission to film from the land owning and they said it was fine as long no one was bothered. The setting of the movie is supposed to be in a forest with a clearing and the golf course is perfect for it. Another task is make-up and I though instead of real make-up we used dirt and sand from the ground. This would add realism since the explosions will kick up dirt and sand.

The costumes they wear are Nike branded apparel whether it be shorts, windbreakers, tennis shoes, sports bras, or headbands. Final decision-Action

 I chose the action genre for my opening scene film. Action movies have always peaked my interests with the plot the scene and how they are crafted just make it so perfect. This option is the easiest this action movies have more of my style. Action movie more, so war movies have always grabbed my attention because I love to study history and wars. The atmosphere of the movies just checks all the boxes for me and now that I can create and opening scene to one, I'm all hands on. I already have a great idea of what my opening on my action movie will be. Some of the ones that inspired me were "Hacksaw Ridge" and "Midway" which I loved and learned about. I know how war movies are portrayed, as gritty harsh warzones with empty atmospheres. This experience will help me make a better opening that is more enjoyable to make.  Action was my chose over the other two because I could get much more creative than I could if I was doing horror or drama.
