Filming "production"

Image
My role during our filming process was being the director. I would tell other people in my group what to do, where to stand, and how the process should go down. I used my own idea and ideas of my groupmates to figure out what the plan of action was and some of the problems we had to conquer. Some difficulties I had were the time restraints, I had to come up with a solution to make it easier for us, and it involved trying to take shots at certain times. More problems showed up when we had a debate over a tracking shot or wide shot, so we did both and decided on the wide shot.  During a shot I worked as crowd control making sure people did not interfere. Also, I held and set up the props we used. Communication is the most important part in any team so I talked a lot with them involving ideas and solutions. That is probably the most important trait when it comes to directing problem solving. Another task I was responsible was, was the actor having his mask on during shots, so I had to re

Slide 1: The first shot is of an eye level shot on the main actor. He has an anxious look on his face as if he is waiting for the bell to ring, his eyes focused on the clock. The sound of the ticking clock ringing in his ear. The actor is wearing a gray Nike hoodie. As this scene ends with the camera starting to pan down. Slide 2: The camera pans down to see the tapping of the main actor's foot. He is wearing black shorts and his white Nike shoes. With the Nike logo being the most obvious in this shot. His anxiousness is really shown here with the fast tapping of his foot, with a close up shot. The rapid tapping of his foot and the clock still ticking are the most prominent sounds.  Slide 3: The shot will zoom in slowly on the clock. It will emphasize the ticking waiting for it to ring. Each tick will take a second so there will be a total of 2-3 before the bell rings. Cue the bell ring at 1 o clock. When it rings, the music will come in. This will lead into the cut to slide 4.  Sl

Research

Research Our group will be doing a Nike commercial. Typically these commercials follow multiple people ranging from average joes to famous athletes partaking in some physical activity. The costumes they wear are Nike branded apparel whether it be shorts, windbreakers, tennis shoes, sports bras, or headbands. Many of the props used were sporting equipment, specifically basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, towels, water bottles, or gloves.  Almost always the actors are fit and drenched in sweat or more accurately spritzed with water right before the shot was taken. It's almost mandatory for a Nike commercial to have a slogan at either the start or beginning with their most iconic one being “Just Do It” The theme throughout these commercials are fast pace action with exhilarating music to make the audience excited and motivate them to get out there and “Just Do It” Nike commercials connect to the masses by showing world-class athletes or famous figures using the product that the av

My group

The people in my group consist of Zack  Zimmerman and Bliss Desrvio. I chose to work in a group because working on something like a commercial is difficult for me to do it alone and I work better in a group. I knew Zack since 3rd grade at Harbordale Elementary. I knew Bliss since 7th grade at Sunrise middle school.  The reason I'm working with these two are because I know them and I know what they can do. Another reason is that we all have different mindsets and ideas so we could expand of of each other. I may not be best friends with both of them but I know what they could bring to the team. Zack is the debate time and has experience working with others and has the skills of an excellent debater. He also, has good impromptu skill because of debate. In addition he had ran for student body multiple times so he as great public speaking. Bliss is a hard working and strives to get the job done, and has done debate to where she has the basic level. I'm also a hard working and
