CCR Questions

 1. The product is the Nike brand in its entirety, from the shoes, jackets, and shorts. This product challenges convention by showing that quality clothing items don't have to be worn by the rich and the famous and they can be worn by the average person. Their product I shown to be great looking and that anyone and everyone uses it. It works with it by showing that its good enough that the rich and famous do use it, like star athletes and people in the Olympics. It represents social groups by for example if someone is wearing Nike wears people would assume that they are an athlete, and Nike has become a staple for athlete wear. The products aren't expensive for many people, which eliminates the the problem of affordability.

2. This product engages with the audience by relating to what many people want to do, be an athlete. Our commercial shows the audience that Nike is used by the normal students and that they have a passion to run, they may not be the best at but it shows that they are committed. This commercial would be distributed as ads for apps like YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok and any other social media platform. TV commercials work as well but they should be more focused on sports channels or kid shows to try to get them more active. Also, having the commercial on mobile games like pop up adds, and lastly, any website that has some sort of connection to exercise or sports to connect to these people. In the end many people already know about the brand but they might not know some of the new products in stock.

3. The beginning of this project my group and I had little experience with film making, all of us having a music video during our eight grade project. I had by far the least amount of experience out of the three of us, with not being a heavy social media I wasn't very familiar with camera angles and lighting for videos and pictures. One thing I did have was the ability to learn fast and to work well with others especially when I know them. Half way through this project I had gotten better with production by being the director of the operation, with helping with crowed control, and what each scene should and should not have. Towards the end of the project, the editing phase I was unable to receive the clips and use a editing software due to not have the same type of phone.

4. Our project used many different technologies during the planning, production, and post production phase. We had used a group chat on our phones to communicate with each other over any discussion we had, whether it be over the storyboard, the filming process, and the editing process. For filming we used a high quality Apple phone to record each clip and observing the commercial at the end. For editing, since we had Apple we could use the iMovie's soft to piece the clips together to create the finished product.
