 Action movies is among the most used genre in the film making industry because people love seeing fight scene and battles that could never happen in real life. Action is about danger and fast-paced scenes that get people interested.  Each of these movies are different in their own respected way, but many of them use the same camera angles, camera movements, mis-en-scene, the sound in the film, and the editing they use. The camera angles used are jump cuts to show the action going on in different points of the scene, high/ low shots to view the villain or hero in the power stance or defeated, point of view shots to see what the subjects sees, and wide shot to get the whole scene in one shot. Camera movements are tracking shots for chases so the viewer can always see what's going on, establishing shots to unveil the location of the action, and panning which allows the camera to move to reveal more to the scene. 1. How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones?   There were 6 titles displayed plus the title at the end of the opening. They included the companies and studios at the beginning. Then the actors in the film were scatter out throughout the scene. To the end of the sequence the title of the movie showed "Dare Devil."  2. What connotations do the images carry? (How do you they make you feel)  The images of buildings as the camera shifts and moves around creates a sense of adventure. The nighttime atmosphere makes the viewer feel the sense of not knowing what sin the dark. The lights shifting in and out in a fast-paced way creates a pumped-up feeling. 3. How is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset? (Can you tell what genre the film is) The way the camera moves all over the city like a superhero with the nighttime atmosphere represents a vigilante type movie. Drama is all about the plot and all the twists and turns that come along with it. Conflicts and plot devices are what make these movies so interesting to watch.  Each of these movies are different in their own respected way, but many of them use the same camera angles, camera movements, mis-en-scene, the sound in the film, and the editing they use.  Some of the most common camera angles are wide shots to show the whole scene so the viewer can see everything, close/extreme close ups to unveil the characters emotion and to give off a certain feeling. Some have establishing shots to show the location which could lead to other factors. Some camera movements are zooms to show a character's body language or facial features in a scene, a pan to reveal something the actors sees or dramatic irony, and tilt to introduce a character in a dramatic fashion.  The edits used in drama varies, but they still have common ground like using jump cuts to show different action points like argu...
