Genre research blog-Action

 Action movies is among the most used genre in the film making industry because people love seeing fight scene and battles that could never happen in real life. Action is about danger and fast-paced scenes that get people interested.  Each of these movies are different in their own respected way, but many of them use the same camera angles, camera movements, mis-en-scene, the sound in the film, and the editing they use. The camera angles used are jump cuts to show the action going on in different points of the scene, high/ low shots to view the villain or hero in the power stance or defeated, point of view shots to see what the subjects sees, and wide shot to get the whole scene in one shot. Camera movements are tracking shots for chases so the viewer can always see what's going on, establishing shots to unveil the location of the action, and panning which allows the camera to move to reveal more to the scene.      My name is Luke Mehrhoff and I go to Fort Lauderdale High School . I now have more experience in filming with being a director.  I was born on December 17th 2004 in New York. In 2012 I moved from New York to Florida to try to get closer to family and for school. One of my favorite things to do is play soccer and baseball, I love to play center back in soccer. I am a great runner with my fastest mile being six minutes and twenty three seconds. At home I own two tabby cats, one is 5 and the other is 3. Winter is my favorite season due to the fact that it has snow. I really enjoy doing math and learning about many different types of science. I have never broken, fractured, or dislocated a bone. I live with my mother and father along with my older brother. I wear glasses and I do not intend in wearing contacts, but I might get lazar eye surgery.  1. The product is the Nike brand in its entirety, from the shoes, jackets, and shorts. This product challenges convention by showing that quality clothing items don't have to be worn by the rich and the famous and they can be worn by the average person. Their product I shown to be great looking and that anyone and everyone uses it. It works with it by showing that its good enough that the rich and famous do use it, like star athletes and people in the Olympics. It represents social groups by for example if someone is wearing Nike wears people would assume that they are an athlete, and Nike has become a staple for athlete wear. The products aren't expensive for many people, which eliminates the the problem of affordability. 2. This product engages with the audience by relating to what many people want to do, be an athlete.
